Ultimately our goal for all engagement is to start or strengthen Churches. Our work in the US is no exception. We are committed to helping other Churches develop leadership and engage their communities with the love of Jesus. Here are a few examples: Operation Starfish- Over 400 of our family, in a span of 3 months, made multiple trips to the Gulf Coast to help rebuild after Hurricane Katrina tore through the area. Working with local churches such as the Lagniappe Church and Matt’s Place, our adults and children alike worked hard to show the love of Jesus by providing much needed housing. Chicago (Where reality becomes real)- Over 50 students travelled to Chicago to work with Kisswaukee Bible Church engage the inner city. The Outpost- We are helping Trent Ballard, a former member of Lake Valley help start a new Church in Denver called the Outpost. We are helping them become established through leadership training, mentoring, and financial support. Twin Cities Church- George Stagg, a long time friend of Lake Valley, is planting a new church in Minneapolis. We are helping this Church through leadership training, mentoring, and financial support. Kanakuk- We provide financial support for this national children and student ministry.
