Quebec City, Canada- Partnering with Team Quebec, Lake Valley has worked to help establish the Church of the Two Shores. Although, Quebec is not financially poor, it is spiritually destitute, living on the leading edge of the Post Christian era. The Quebequos have lived through what has been named the “Silent Revolution,” a period of 10 years in which the churches saw tremendous decline. Unlike some other mission fields, the people of Quebec have become numb to the Gospel which makes establishing Churches very difficult. We support this effort through prayer, finances, leadership training, and strategic development.
Guatemala- In 2006, LVCC sent a construction team to Santiago Atitlan – a small Mayan village in Guatemala. The village had been hit by a massive mudslide and nearly 100 people were buried alive. Survivors lost their homes and LVCC was privileged to build two small homes in the reconstruction effort.
