At Lake Valley Community Church we believe one word best captures our philosophy of corporate worship - participation. God is the only audience!
At Lake Valley Community Church worship is not music. Music is a powerful art form and it is a biblical expression of worship, however it is not the only way in which we worship.
At Lake Valley Community Church we believe there is a biblical pattern to worship. Thus, we design our services around this four fold pattern:
God's people gather
God speaks to them
They share a meal together, a covenant meal
They dismiss to fulfill their mission
At Lake Valley Community Church we believe a Christian worship service should be centered on Jesus Christ. Our goal is to draw attention to Him. We should be aware of visitors and the lost, but the focus of our time together as believer is to gather around the Father in the living room, loving one another and being loved, celebrating His lordship and worshipping at his feet. This is true worship evangelism.
"To worship is to quicken to conscience by the holiness of God, to feed the mind with the truth of God, to purge the imagination by the beauty of God, to devote the will to the purpose of God.
