Sunday gathering

Our family gets together every Sunday morning at 9:30 to commune with one another and with God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. At our Sunday service you can expect worship through song, the teaching of God’s word, and weekly communion for those who confess Jesus as Lord.

kids

We love kids at Lake Valley! We value that our kids worship with our church family, so kids K-5th grade start worship in the large group church gathering, then are dismissed after we sing a few songs together. We offer Sunday classes during service from birth through 5th grade. If you’re visiting, be sure to get checked in at the downstairs kiosk so we can place your child in a class and care for them well! We have some midweek activities and special events for our kids, so check the events calendar to get in on the fun!

students

All students age 6-12 grade gather for a student-led worship service every Wednesday at 6:45. We call it Awe Factor. It’s a casual environment where anyone is welcome.. and to make it even better, dinner is provided starting at 6!

small groups

We highly value doing life together outside of the Sunday morning gathering. We offer a variety of multi-generational groups that meet throughout the week such as: community groups, celebrate recovery, garments of grace, and others to connect with others and seek God together.

celebrate recovery

Celebrate Recovery is a Christ-centered program to help address a variety of hurts, habits, and hang-ups. Our weekly format includes worship, teaching, sharing recovery experiences, and small group interaction.

Celebrate Recovery provides a safe environment for real life change in Jesus Christ, as participants personally work through specific Bible-based recovery steps in the context of Christian community. We open the door to recovery by sharing our experiences, strengths, and hope with one another, which leads to a greater capacity for accepting God’s grace and movement in our lives.

women

We love seeing women encourage and love each other! We create opportunities for this through our “Woman to Woman” Bible study gathering on Monday nights and Wednesday mornings, bi-yearly women’s retreats, and quarterly women’s gatherings.

men

We offer different ways to experience deeper community with God and other men through our “Man to Man” gathering on Tuesday nights, our Men of the Ouachitas retreats, and quarterly “Macho Nacho” nights.

Missions

We believe that as those in Christ we are all called to be on mission. Throughout the years, Lake Valley has been active in many parts of the world including Canada, Mexico, Guatemala, Honduras, Kenya, Zimbabwe, Myanmar (Burma), Peru, and Nicaragua, and others. We have partnered with pastors and other business leaders to equip them in furthering God’s kingdom.
