Local Missions

God has called His people to be on mission. The love, compassion, redemption, and grace that He has given to us, He desires to then be given through us. Hot Springs is a city desperate for the work of the gospel: there are broken families, hurting lives, and great needs all around us.

Here at Lake Valley, we believe that God has placed us in a strategic location this work. We partner with multiple ministries that work across the city or in Garland county at large to bring the healing love of Christ to those in need.   • Lake Valley Food Bank

    The Food Bank at Lake Valley seeks to serve those in our city who are struggling to provide food for themselves. Every Friday from 10am-1pm, volunteers run a drive-thru service where individuals in need can drive up to the church to be given food items.

  • The CALL

    The CALL in Garland & Hot Spring Counties recruits, trains and supports families from the Christian community right here in our own county who will care for children in foster care. The foster system is a hard and dark place for many children, but the CALL works tirelessly to bring the light of Christ into it.

  • Garage Church

    Garage Church serves individuals in our community that are trying to get their life back on track. No matter where they are coming from, there is always help and hope through the gospel of Jesus Christ. Among many other things, this ministry offers worship nights, Bible studies, and weekly classes on topics like anger management, codependency, finances, etc.

  • Kairos Prison Ministry

    Kairos seeks to reach those who are lost in the federal prison system. They seek to bring the gospel to prisons nationwide by hosting weekend retreats, as well as weekly prayer and share meetings for those who are seeking spiritual growth. We partner with the Kairos chapter that ministers to the Ouachita River Unit in Malvern, AR.

  • Garland County Jail Ministry

    The Garland County Jail Ministry brings the gospel to the Garland County Detention Center, offering daily bible studies and other discipleship opportunities to the detainees. They seek to bring light into the lives of those who have reached rock bottom through the gospel of Christ.

  • Lakeside School District

    Our heart as a church is to share the love we have in Christ to our community. One of the greatest areas we want to reach and impact is our local schools. Many of our children and students in the church attend Lakeside School District, and therefore we are uniquely equipped to have an impact there. Our hope is to care for students and staff at Lakeside to bless our community through community events, teacher appreciation, and outreach ministry.

Global Missions

Throughout the years, Lake Valley has been active in many parts of the world including Canada, Mexico, Guatemala, Honduras, Kenya, Zimbabwe, Myanmar (Burma), Peru, and Nicaragua, and others.

While we do not currently support any missionaries abroad, this is an area we are currently praying for as we seek God's will on how we can reach those who have yet to hear the gospel. Please join us in praying for this specific area of Lake Valley's Missions and Outreach goals.
